This decor proves that white, orange, and black is a winning Halloween color scheme every year.

I love how lush the velvet additions are, especially when contrasted with the matte background.

I’ve seen crows make a comeback this year and they don’t always have to be paired with bats.

So really, feel free to have one or the other if you think both are a bit much. And I think we can all admit that the centerpiece here, otherwise known as the start of the show, is the gothic chandelier that’s downright stunning.

Every year I hear people fretting about how to decorate their stairs for Halloween. The bannister garland at Christmas is obvious, but what about when you’re trying to make it look spooky?

Well, replace the garland with a set of orange or dark yellow lights, sprinkle the wall with some bat-shaped wall stickers and you’re good to go.

The low light evokes such a spooky and even cozy atmosphere that’s ideal for Halloween.

Sometimes, I think people forget that Halloween is in autumn. Yes, we have the pumpkins there to remind us, but what about the rest of the fall palette?

Here, we see all-out autumn-inspired Halloween decor.

The overall scheme white with faded neutrals and oranges also make a star appearance. It’s all very rustic-chic and dreamy.

The key here is to always go soft, yes, even when it comes to the pumpkin table centrepiece.

This is a safespace for lazy decorators, because here, there’s plenty of style inspiration that’s high quality, low effort without absolutely no judgment involved, at least not from me anyway.

And here’s just one example of gorgeous Halloween decor that can literally be put up in 30 minutes and taken down in the exact same amount of time.

Despite that, the aesthetic is entirely sophisticated and even quite luxurious. So, don’t sweat it and go easy on yourself when it comes to Halloween decorating duties this year.

Framed Halloween prints are having a moment, and I should know, my house is going to be full of them.

I was also quite skeptical of bringing Christmas to this season with gothic garlands, but truth be told, they’re growing on me. Even the fairy lights add a hint of spooky magic that we can never get enough of this time of year.

The use of black and white ferns here is quite unique but it works and certainly keeps the overall vibe of the set-up soft and feathery.

Clear away those vegetables and bring out the Halloween decorations, we’re decorating all over the house this year.

Obviously, we expect to find these shelves in the kitchen, which is a great way to decorate the most notoriously difficult room to Halloweenify in the house.

However, feel free to move the shelf around to any part of your home you find lacking in Halloween spirit.

While the image above offers great inspiration, feel free to let your creative juices flow and decorate to your heart’s content.

I think it’s due to the Addams family that art deco Halloween decorations are so popular. The bubbly and lightly ornate aesthetic is naturally fun and brings a hint of 70s funkiness to your home.

In other words, it’s Halloween decor that doesn’t take itself too seriously. The butterflies are so easy-going and light-hearted.

I would say this is the ideal decor for anyone that’s hosting all kinds of Halloween parties this year from the kiddies to the adults.

If you’re like me, the first piece to catch your eye here was probably the velvet pumpkin. I consider that the literal and figurative centrepiece from which the softness of the decor emanates.

Because really, it is one of the most lush and low-key lavish decors I’ve seen this year.

I also enjoy just how autumn the overall vibe is, which is something that’s been lacking in Halloween decor ideas recently.

    1. Awn, thank you so much for your comment. I love Halloween decorations and also I care about keeping my place nice and clean. While we can go crazy with the decorations which is so good, I like to keep it minimal and more aestehtic.
